Twitter advanced search — search X without login
Search recent public posts with from:, since:, min_faves: and more, no account needed.
Type a keyword, a #hashtag, or X's own search operators and read the matching recent public posts with their metrics, no account required. The filters under the search box add from:, since:, min_faves:, filter:media and -filter:replies to your query, so you can narrow to one account's media posts or to posts above an engagement floor. Each search is a free, real lookup, rate-limited per visitor (20 lookups every 10 minutes); agents get the same results with format=json, no API key needed. Useful for brand monitoring, finding reactions to an event, or pulling a sample of posts for research.
Give this to your agent
read https://unifapi.com/tools/x-search/index.md and search X for the latest posts about NASAand let it take it from there.
Free · no API key · read-only. Works in any agent that can open a link.
Built on the UnifAPI gateway
Every result above is one API call against the same live public-data surface that UnifAPI Skills use. Agents can call the same data through MCP when a workflow needs evidence.

Questions about this tool
Which search operators work?
X's standard operators: from:handle, to:handle, @mentions, #hashtags, exact phrases in quotes, since:YYYY-MM-DD, until:YYYY-MM-DD, min_faves:N, min_retweets:N, filter:media, filter:links, -filter:replies, lang:en, and OR between terms.
How far back does the search go?
As far back as X's own search. Results come newest first, twenty per page; add since:YYYY-MM-DD or until:YYYY-MM-DD to jump to any period back to 2006, for example from:jack until:2006-04-01. The UnifAPI X API runs the same search pay as you go with a workspace key, instead of the per-visitor free limit.
Is Twitter search free here?
Yes. Searches are free and real, rate-limited per visitor (20 lookups every 10 minutes). Add format=json to the URL or call /tools/x/search?q=… for the same results as data.
Can I search protected accounts' posts?
No. Only public posts are searchable. Protected accounts' posts never appear in results.
Use the same data in your own agent.
Add UnifAPI once, then ask your assistant to fetch live public data with the same per-record pricing.
