About

We're building the unified API for public data

UnifAPI is a single, agent-friendly surface over the public web — social, search, news, and the open web. We started it because we kept needing it and the existing options weren't built for the way agents work.

What we believe

The opinions that shape what we build

These show up in product decisions — pricing, DX, scope, the kind of data we'll serve and the kind we won't.

Public data is infrastructure

The open web is the largest unified data source on the planet. Agents that can read it cleanly are dramatically more capable than agents that can't. Making that capability uniform and cheap is a worthwhile thing to spend years on.

DX is the product

The underlying data is mostly the same across providers. The difference is the interface — one key, one bill, predictable JSON, real SDKs, MCP out of the box. We sell ergonomics first.

Pricing should match usage

Subscriptions with hard caps belong to the previous era. If you call us once a month, the bill matches. If you call us a million times, the bill matches. We don't punish growth.

Trust ships with the data

Public data has nuance — what's allowed, what's archived, what's stale. We document it clearly, set an acceptable use policy, and refuse work that wouldn't survive sunlight.

Hiring

We're a small team — and growing

We hire engineers who care about ergonomics, infrastructure, and shipping things that other engineers want to use. If that sounds like you, drop us a line.

Give your agent the open web

Start free, grab an API key, ship the feature. No subscription, no minimum, no credit card to begin.
