LLM mention tracking

LLM mention tracking is monitoring whether — and how — large language models mention your brand, product, or domain when users ask about your category, across engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Mode.

Also searched as: track brand mentions in ChatGPT, AI mention monitoring, AI share of voice.

It is social listening pointed at the models themselves. Rather than watching what people post about you, you watch what the AI says about you when prompted, because for a growing share of buyers that answer is the first (and sometimes only) impression of your brand.

A useful tracker records three things per prompt: presence (are you cited at all), position (are you the lead recommendation or an afterthought), and source (which page or third-party mention the model pulled from). The last one tells you what to fix.

Want this measured for your brand? The AI Visibility Agent runs read-only inside Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex and returns the evidence.
