Instagram highlights viewer
See every story highlight pinned on any public Instagram profile — titles and covers in one list.
Enter a public Instagram handle to list its pinned story highlights — the reels under the bio — with each highlight's title and cover, next to the account's current profile so you know you're looking at the right one. Today the tool catalogs the highlight reels themselves; the individual stories inside a highlight aren't served by the public API yet, and the page says so instead of guessing. Useful for auditing how a brand organizes its evergreen stories, checking a creator's highlights before outreach, and noticing when a competitor adds or renames a reel. Powered by the UnifAPI Instagram endpoints.
Give this to your agent
read https://unifapi.com/tools/instagram-highlights-viewer/index.md and list the story highlights pinned on @nasaand let it take it from there.
Free · no API key · read-only. Works in any agent that can open a link.
Built on the UnifAPI gateway
Every result above is one API call against the same live public-data surface that UnifAPI Skills use. Agents can call the same data through MCP when a workflow needs evidence.

Questions about this tool
How does the Instagram highlights viewer work?
Each check reads the account's public profile and its highlight tray through the UnifAPI Instagram endpoints, then renders the covers straight from Instagram's CDN — the same payload an agent gets from the API. Live checks cost 3 credits for the profile plus one credit per highlight reel listed, with a 10-credit minimum for the highlight tray, so a profile with six highlights is 13 credits.
Can I watch the stories inside a highlight?
Not yet. The public API lists each highlight's title and cover image; the story frames inside a reel aren't exposed on the gateway today, so the tool doesn't pretend to show them. For the stories an account has live right now, use the Instagram story viewer.
Why does an account show no highlights?
Because it has none pinned — the account either never saved a story to a highlight or removed them all. An empty list is the real answer, not a failure. Brands and creators with an organized bio are the reliable test cases.
Can I see highlights from a private account?
No. Private accounts don't expose their highlights on any public surface, and this tool only reads public data.
Is my Instagram account involved in the check?
No. Checks run through UnifAPI's public-data gateway, not through an Instagram login — you never connect your Instagram account here, and the tool only fetches what the target account exposes publicly.
Can I track highlights over time via the API?
Yes — the same endpoint serves agents and scripts, so a workspace can poll an account list on a schedule and record when reels are added, renamed, or removed. The list paginates with a cursor for profiles with many highlights. Companion Instagram endpoints cover profiles, posts, reels, stories, and followers; see /apis/instagram.
Use the same data in your own agent.
Add UnifAPI once, then ask your assistant to fetch live public data with the same per-record pricing.
